Nigerians Mock Fayose As He Turned ‘Prayer Warrior’

Some Nigerians have taken to the twitter page of the incumbent governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Peter Fayose a.k.a the ROCK, to mock him as he allegedly turned to a prayer warrior overnight.

The reactions of the concerned Nigeriarians followed the prayer points rendered by the Governor via his official Twitter page on the new month.

In the tweet, Fayose wrote: “This month of August, the Lord of Restoration will restore all your loses. He will return all the fortunes of your Zion and you will be like those who dreamed. Happy New Month.”

Recalled that the governor has been reported to have been aggrieved over the result of the July 14 gubernatorial election conducted in Ekiti.

The election in which the candidate of the governor, Professor Olushola Kolapo of the PDP lost to the ruling All Progressives Congress candidate, Dr Olukayode Fayemi.

Prior to the election, Fayose has taken to the media boasting on how Olushola Kolapo, who is the current deputy governor was going to succeed him.

Fayose went as far as anointing his candidate just to show the world how sure he was that Olushola would emerge winner of the governorship seat.

The atmosphere, however, took a new turn less than 48 hours to the conduct of the election when Fayose accused the APC government of directing security operatives to tear gas and manhandle him.

Eventually, the PDP lost the election as Fayemi of the APC was declared the winner by the Independent National Electoral Commission.

However, the Ekiti governor has since maintained silence both on the social media and the traditional media according to reports.
