UTME 2019 Results: Why JAMB will not release result today being Wednesday

It is no news anymore that the Joint Admissions Matriculation Board (JAMB) is still yet to release the 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

The JAMB spokesperson, Dr. Fabian Benjamin had stated in an interview on Monday that the results would be released anytime this week, however, the results are still yet to be released.

Benjamin also gave the reason for the prolonged delay in the release of the results while being interviewed in Abuja by newsmen, after the board went back on its promise to release the results on Monday.

He said the delay happened because the screening process, which was done to fish out those involved in examination malpractices, was not yet concluded.

The release of the 2019 UTME results would not be happening today, Wednesday, May 1st because of a major reason__ It is WORKERS’ DAY today.

Today was also declared by the Federal Government as a public holiday for all workers, which would also include all of the staff of JAMB.

Therefore, candidates should sit back and relax till JAMB releases an official statement that would certify that the 2019 UTME results have been released, disregarding all false information about the release of the result and avoiding being involved with fraudsters.
